Cons: Did liberals kidnap and drug conservative icon Newt Gingrish into believing man made global warming?

He has just joined his fellow Republicans Arnold Shwartzenneger, Rudolph Guiliani, John McCain, and even Pat Robertson into accepting reality.

WASHINGTON — In a Capitol Hill debate about global warming touted by its moderator as a “smackdown” between former House speaker Newt Gingrich and Senator John F. Kerry of Massachusetts, Gingrich praised Kerry’s recently released book about environmentalism, acknowledged that global warming is real, and offered what amounted to an unexpected apology for his party’s inaction on curtailing greenhouse gas emissions.

Nobody in their right mind would argue that pollution control is a good thing.

That’s all “Global warming” is; a new way to say pollution.

Environmentalists have latched on to it to make their arguments more forceful, but really, it’s the same song and dance. Cut down on pollution.

We all agree it’s a good thing. Now, when you can get China and India to hop on the bandwagon, as well as every other country in the world, I will support mandatory emission control increases for us.

Until then, all the arguments against the Kyoto protocol are valid here.

Pollution control. No duh.
