What lake did we fly over?
Flying from Las Vegas to Sacramento, about 15 – 25 minutes outside of Sacramento we flew over a lake. It was medium sized and the whole area was in the mountains and gorgeous green. Houses and businesses all around but still open. I think it was too small to be Tahoe and wrong shape for Truckee. I would love to find this place and visit. Any ideas?
Definitely smaller than Lake Berryessa
No Island in Lake (So not Mono)
Area was VERY green, not rocky or dry at all
Go to google click on maps, click on satellite than just look for the lake you saw outside of Sacramento.
