Sage Green House Colors
OK, I am having a problem with paint colors for bedroom furniture colors. Help !!!!??
Although I am an Interior Designer, I have my speed bumps, no problems until I am ready to do my own house. I am doing my bedroom in a 50’s era look. The walls are a sage green, and I have painted the open beams a vintage blue. My bedding is the 50’s Waverly look. What I want to do is keep it all looking like it is the 50’s. So the problem is, my furniture needs a 50’s face lift. I have thought about crackle and also a procedure with spackling that makes it look old then you paint it. But what color??? HELP!!!!
if you are looking for the 50’s feel…and you have painted walls and beams..why not go for that blonde wood stain that was popular back then?? it would really make the walls “pop”!
